Job Title: NOC Engineer
Location: Anna Nagar, Chennai
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keep a close eye on WOC link performance and overall network health using monitoring tools and dashboards
- Quickly respond to network issues like link degradation, outages, or service disruptions
- Perform initial troubleshooting and escalate complex issues when needed
- Handle routine maintenance, firmware updates, and configuration changes on FSOC equipment
- Work closely with field engineers to guide on-site troubleshooting and alignment
- Analyze performance data such as signal strength, throughput, and link stability to improve efficiency
- Log and track incidents using tools like Service Now or Jira
- Maintain clear documentation and provide detailed shift handovers
- Continuously learn about WOC systems, alignment techniques, and environmental factors affecting performance
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Around 2+ years of experience in a NOC or telecom operations role
- Solid understanding of networking basics (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
- Familiarity with optical or wireless communication systems (WOC/laser communication is a plus)
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, or Grafana
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations
- Good communication skills—both written and verbal

- 24/7 NOC setup with rotating shifts
- Occasional travel to field sites if needed

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
