Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Video Editor with a passion for storytelling through visual media. The ideal candidate will have strong technical editing skills, creative vision, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality final products
- Sync audio, add music, sound effects, and voiceovers
- Apply color correction and color grading
- Add transitions, graphics, text overlays, and visual effects
- Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project requirements
- Review and incorporate feedback from clients and team members
- Manage and organize video files and assets
- Stay updated with latest editing trends and software features
- Export videos in various formats for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TV, etc.)
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 0–5 years of professional video editing experience (or strong portfolio)
- Software Proficiency:
- Adobe Premiere Pro (required)
- After Effects (preferred)
- DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro (plus)
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and composition
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Portfolio demonstrating previous editing work (required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Wedding
- Knowledge of motion graphics
- Basic sound design skills
- Familiarity with social media video formats and trends
