About the Role

Globals is looking for a strategic, business-oriented, and technology-forward Head of Finance to lead and transform the finance function.

This is not a traditional finance leadership role. We are looking for someone who will build a modern, scalable finance function by combining financial stewardship with operational excellence, automation, and data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to the leadership team, bringing commercial acumen, strong financial governance, and a passion for leveraging technology to eliminate manual processes, improve efficiencies, and enable business growth.

Equally important, the individual should possess exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, senior leadership, auditors, banks, investors, regulatory authorities, and other strategic external partners. They will play a pivotal role in influencing key business decisions, driving organizational alignment, and representing the finance function both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Finance

Partner with the leadership team to shape and execute the company's financial strategy.

Provide actionable financial insights that support business planning and strategic decision-making.

Drive long-term financial planning, annual budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.

Monitor business performance through meaningful financial and operational KPIs.

Financial Leadership

Lead the end-to-end finance and accounting function, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance.

Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

Oversee treasury, cash flow management, working capital, and banking relationships.

Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, tax, and audit requirements.

Establish strong financial controls and governance across the organization.

Finance Transformation & Digital Enablement

Champion the transformation of the finance function by reducing dependency on manual processes and spreadsheets.

Drive automation, process standardization, and system optimization to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Leverage ERP capabilities, business intelligence tools, and modern finance technologies to build a highly efficient finance organization.

Develop real-time dashboards and management reporting that enable faster, data-driven business decisions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, system integrations, and data quality.

Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, including AI-enabled finance solutions, to enhance reporting, forecasting, controls, and decision support.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the finance function.

Leadership

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.

Partner effectively with business leaders across functions to support organizational objectives.

Manage relationships with auditors, banks, consultants, investors, and statutory authorities.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting, with proven experience leading finance functions.

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is highly preferred.

Demonstrated experience in building scalable finance processes and driving finance transformation initiatives.

Strong understanding of financial planning, accounting, taxation, treasury, compliance, audits, and corporate governance.

Hands-on experience with ERP platforms and modern finance technologies.

Proven ability to automate, simplify, and optimize finance operations.

Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
