Job Title: CNC Setter Cum Operator

Experience: 3 Years (preferred)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled CNC Setter Cum Operator responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components as per specifications. The role requires hands-on experience in machine setup, tooling, and quality control to ensure efficient production and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Setup & Operation:
- Set up CNC machines (turning/milling) as per job requirements
- Load and run programs for machining operations
- Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and attachments
- Adjust machine settings to achieve required tolerances and finishes
Production & Process Control:
- Operate CNC machines to produce parts as per drawings
- Monitor machine operations and ensure smooth production flow
- Optimize cycle time and reduce machining errors
- Perform minor program edits (if required)
Quality Inspection:
- Inspect components using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, gauges)
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications
- Identify defects and take corrective actions
Maintenance & Safety:
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
- Ensure proper handling of tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of CNC machine setup and operation
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience with measuring instruments and quality checks
- Basic knowledge of G-code / CNC programming (preferred)
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in turning centers / VMC machines
- Exposure to precision machining or production environments
