Job Purpose:
To support the development and expansion of molds for non-company concrete block machines by leveraging hands-on service experience in machine interfacing, mold mounting, and compaction system.
Preferred Background
Diploma Mechanical or B.E Mechanical
- Experience working with competitor brands such as Zenith, Hess, Masa, Rekers, Prensoland, Poyatos, Apollo, Q green, Reit etc.
- Prior role in field service engineering.
- Exposure to multiple machine models and configurations is a strong advantage.
Key Skills & Competencies required:
- Strong knowledge of concrete block / paver machine operations.
- Hands-on experience in machine servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of:
- Mold mounting systems
- Vibration & compaction systems
- Hydraulic and mechanical interfaces
- Ability to read technical drawings and machine layouts.
- Problem-solving approach with strong practical field experience.
- Good communication skills for coordination between customers and internal teams.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with good command over Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Study and understand different concrete block machine designs (especially competitor machines).
- Provide technical inputs for mold interfacing, mounting systems, and compatibility.
- Analyze machine vibration and compaction mechanisms to optimize mold performance.
- Assist in design validation and trial runs for molds developed for external machines.
- Support troubleshooting of fitment, alignment, and production issues at customer sites.
- Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure accurate mold development.
- Conduct site visits for machine assessment, installation support, and performance feedback.
- Maintain documentation of machine specifications, mold compatibility, and learnings.
