Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, ME/MBA/PGDM in Project
Management/Construction Management is an added advantage.
Experience: 5–7 Years
Preferred Experience: Government-funded infrastructure projects of water supply,
sewerage, irrigation, or urban infrastructure projects. Should have experience of working with
Municipal Corporation, State Government Departments or worked in Jal Jeevan Mission,
AMRUT, Smart City, High rise buildings or similar public-sector projects. Experience
coordinating multidisciplinary civil, mechanical, water supply, plumbing etc. type of works.
Location: Vadodara (HO) and readiness to travel to manage multiple projects at locations
across India
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Project Manager to oversee the detailed
execution, monitoring and financial performance of multiple government infrastructure
projects for inspections and project management. The role involves managing project teams,
coordinating with government departments, consultants, contractors and municipal
authorities, while ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, contractual adherence and
profitability.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Manage multiple government infrastructure and water supply projects from initiation
to completion.
Monitor project progress against approved schedules, milestones and deliverables.
Ensure compliance with project scope, contract conditions, technical specifications,
and applicable standards.
Coordinate civil, electro-mechanical and related activities across projects.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, government departments, utility agencies,
and statutory authorities.
Monitor project close-out activities and final documentation.
Inspection and Third-Party Quality Assurance
Plan and supervise third-party inspections of civil, structural, electrical, mechanical,
plumbing, roads, bridges, buildings, water supply, sewerage, irrigation, industrial, and
urban infrastructure projects.
Ensure inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant BIS, IRC, MoRTH,
CPWD, IS Codes, ASTM, ISO, client specifications, and contractual requirements.
Review inspection reports and verify closure of observations.
Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Quality Management
Implement Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) systems.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17020, project quality plans, and client
quality requirements.
Review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Quality Plans, and
Material Approval Requests.
Maintain impartiality, independence, confidentiality, and integrity during inspection
activities.
Participate & coordinate in accreditation assessments and surveillance audits & any
other internal or external audits.
Maintain competency and qualification records of inspection personnel.
Ensure timely closure of quality non-conformities.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for government departments, municipal
corporations, contractors and consultants.
Conduct periodic project review meetings with clients and internal teams.
Prepare and present project progress reports, dashboards and management
presentations.
Resolve issues through effective coordination with all stakeholders proactively.
Financial & Commercial Management
Monitor project budgets, profitability and resource utilization.
Track project revenue, invoicing, collections and project cash flow.
Review project costs and recommend corrective actions to improve margins.
Support contract administration, variation claims and commercial correspondence.
Ensure timely certification and billing milestones are achieved.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor project engineers, inspectors and support staff.
Allocate resources effectively across projects.
Monitor team productivity and performance.
Build a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
Planning & Reporting
Develop project execution plans and monitoring mechanisms.
Track project milestones including schedule, cost, quality, safety and client
satisfaction.
Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports for senior management.
Highlight project issues, risks and recommended actions.
Maintain project correspondence, inspection records, quality records, meeting
minutes, technical approvals, and contractual documents.
Ensure document control in accordance with organizational procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of project information.
Business Support
Support proposal preparation, technical documentation and bid submissions when
required.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
Assist management in expanding services with existing clients.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of government infrastructure and water supply projects.
Knowledge of civil works, pipelines, water treatment systems, pumping stations and
electro-mechanical installations.
Experience in third-party inspection (TPI) or Project Management Consultancy
(PMC) is preferred.
Strong project planning and scheduling skills.
Financial management and budget monitoring capabilities.
Contract management and stakeholder coordination.
