Job Description – Manager on Duty (MOD)
Position: Manager on Duty (MOD)
Qualification: B.Pharm / MBA (Hospital Management) / MHA
Experience: 2–5 years (Hospital experience preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day hospital operations during assigned shifts.
- Ensure smooth coordination between clinical and non-clinical departments.
- Handle patient complaints and ensure high patient satisfaction.
- Monitor admissions, discharges, transfers, and emergency operations.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, hospital policies, and safety protocols.
- Supervise housekeeping, security, maintenance, pharmacy, laboratory, and front office operations.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and department heads for seamless patient care.
- Prepare daily operational reports and escalate critical issues to management.
- Ensure availability of manpower, equipment, and essential resources.
- Respond to emergencies and resolve operational issues promptly.
Required Skills:
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Knowledge of hospital operations, NABH, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hospital information systems (HIS).
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
