Position: Assistant Professor – PhysicsKey Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Physics and allied subjects.
- Develop and update course content in line with academic and industry requirements.
- Conduct laboratory sessions and practical demonstrations.
- Guide and mentor students in academic, research, and project activities.
- Undertake quality research leading to publications in reputed journals, patents, and funded projects.
- Participate in curriculum development, accreditation, and academic administration activities.
- Organize seminars, workshops, conferences, and student development programs.
- Collaborate with industry and research organizations for academic and research initiatives.
- Contribute to departmental and university committees and institutional development activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Physics from a recognized university/institution.
- Strong academic record with First Class or equivalent at Bachelor's and Master's levels.
- NET qualification is desirable as per applicable regulatory norms.
- Specialization in any area of Physics such as:
- Quantum Physics
- Condensed Matter Physics
- Electronics
- Nuclear Physics
- Materials Science
- Computational Physics
- Astrophysics
- Applied Physics
Experience
- Ph.D. candidates with excellent academic credentials may apply.
- Candidates with teaching, research, or industry experience will be preferred.
- Demonstrated research output through publications in Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals is desirable.
