A Performance Marketer specializing in Google Ads and Meta Ads is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns to deliver measurable business outcomes such as leads, sales, and app installs. The role is highly data-driven, requiring expertise in campaign management, analytics, and creative testing.
1. Campaign Management & Optimization
- Set up and manage campaigns on Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max) and Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram).
- Daily monitoring of performance metrics like CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS, and LTV.
- Adjust bids and budgets based on performance trends.
- Pause underperforming ads and scale high-performing ones.
- Refine audience targeting using conversion data, lookalike audiences, and remarketing.
2. Creative Strategy & Testing
- Develop creative briefs based on performance insights.
- A/B test ad creatives (headlines, images, videos, CTAs).
- Collaborate with designers to ensure creatives align with platform best practices.
- Analyze creative performance and recommend improvements.
3. Analytics & Reporting
- Track conversions using tools like Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and GA4.
- Build attribution models to connect ad spend with revenue.
- Create dashboards in Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI for real-time reporting.
- Forecast budgets and ROI by channel.
4. Collaboration & Strategy
- Work with cross-functional teams (sales, product, finance) to align campaigns with business goals.
- Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on platform changes, algorithm updates, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, DPDP Act in India).
