Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team as a Visit Phlebotomist. In this role, you will be responsible for visiting clients at their homes or other designated locations to collect blood samples for testing. You will also be required to collect samples at our collection centers as needed. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) and at least 2-3 years of experience in phlebotomy.
Responsibilities:
- Perform phlebotomy and collect blood samples from clients at their homes or other locations
- Collect samples at collection centers as needed
- Process samples in a timely and accurate manner
- Respond to client queries and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate records of samples collected and processed
- Communicate effectively with clients and coworkers
- Adhere to all safety and quality control procedures
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)
- 2-3 years of experience in phlebotomy
- Experience in neonatal phlebotomy is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
