Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Senior Accountant with 3+ years of experience to manage financial records, reporting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should possess advanced Excel skills, strong accounting knowledge, and the ability to provide accurate financial insights that support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger activities.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform bank, vendor, and ledger reconciliations.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial transactions across business units.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial statements for management review.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records.
- Support management with financial analysis and reporting for strategic decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Proven experience managing accounts, reconciliations, MIS reporting, and month-end closing activities.
- Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and accounting principles.
- Experience with Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, or similar accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Hospitality, F&B, Retail, or Multi-Unit Business Operations.
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and financial planning.
- CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent qualifications will be an added advantage.
