Key Responsibilities
Coffee Preparation & Quality Control
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages.
- Maintain consistent beverage standards and presentation.
- Monitor espresso extraction, milk texturing, and brewing techniques.
- Ensure equipment is clean, calibrated, and functioning properly.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and support baristas during shifts.
- Train new employees on coffee preparation, customer service, and company standards.
- Conduct ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
- Assist with scheduling and shift planning.
Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally.
- Build customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Promote menu items and seasonal offerings.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies.
- Place orders and coordinate with suppliers as needed.
- Minimize waste and control costs.
- Conduct regular stock counts.
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Support café management in achieving sales and operational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista (typically 2–3+ years).
- Strong knowledge of espresso machines, brewing methods, and coffee preparation.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Preferred Skills
- Coffee roasting or cupping knowledge.
- Experience with inventory management and ordering.
- Staff training and development experience.
- Point-of-sale (POS) system proficiency.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs (11–23 kg).
- Comfortable working in a busy café environment.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
