Job Profile: Windchill Migration Consultant
Primary Job Functions:
Following the established project plan and Statement of Work (SOW), deliver and manage implementations of PTC data management tools, including Pro/Intralink, PDMLink and ProjectLink, on time and within budget.
- Install and configure Windchill tools including 3rd party software as applicable to client solutions
- Documents designs, use cases, customizations, case studies and configuration changes
- Maintain open and clear communication with clients during the design process to meet all design goals
- Provide service and customer support (mentoring) to clients including altering workflows, contents, configurations, etc.
Desired Qualification & Experience
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
- Bachelor of Engineering in technical field (Computer Science, IT, Mechanical Engineering)
- 2-3 years experience managing product information or components of products with PTC tools
- 1-2 years system administrator experience (CAD, IT, Data Management)
- One Migration Project experiance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to manage to deadlines and meet project and corporate goals
- Possess understanding of Product Data Management Business Processes
- Ability to work under pressure and while multi-tasking
- Windchill PDMLink 10.1, 10.2, 11.0 – Installation and Configuration to customer requirements
- Migration experience Pro/Intralink 3.4 to Windchill 10.2+ (PREFERRED)Migration experience using Windchill Bulk Migrator a plus
- PDMLink 10.2 or 11.0 installation
- Customization development
- BOM Management / Configuration Management experience
- Windchill Bulk Migrator Optional
- ERP Connector and/or ESI experience
