Mechanical Design Engineer (MEP & Utilities)

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Job Summary
Responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and utility services. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient, compliant, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- System Design: Develop layouts for HVAC, piping, compressors, chillers, and utility systems.
- Calculations & Sizing: Perform load calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection.
- Technical Drafting: Prepare detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or SolidWorks.
- Compliance & Coordination: Ensure designs meet ASHRAE, NBC, SMACNA, and NFPA standards while coordinating with electrical and architectural teams.
- Execution & Quality: Review vendor submissions, conduct site inspections, and support installation and commissioning.
Key Skills Required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP or SolidWorks.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and building services.
- Experience in load calculation, equipment selection, and technical drawing interpretation.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and cross-team communication skills.
Pay: ₹25,607.10 - ₹66,512.69 per month
