Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Control: Maintain optimum stock levels of raw materials (such as steel, sheet metal, or plastic granules), bought-out parts (fasteners, bearings, gaskets), and finished auto components. They must continuously monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder levels to prevent production downtime or overstocking.
- Material Receipt & Inwarding: Verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders (PO) and Delivery Challans. This involves managing Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), checking for quantity mismatches, and coordinating with the quality control team for part inspection.
- Production Line Issuance: Issue materials, sub-assemblies, and tools to the shop floor strictly based on authorised material requisitions, ensuring smooth internal logistics.
- Dispatches & Logistics: Oversee the safe packaging, loading, and documentation (such as e-way bills and commercial invoices) of finished auto components being sent to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or aftermarket distributors. [1, 2]
- Floor Management & Compliance: Enforce strict warehouse housekeeping practices, typically following 5S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain). They ensure safe vertical stacking of heavy automotive tooling or metal parts. [1]
- Stock Auditing: Conduct routine physical stock counts and cyclic audits to reconcile physical inventory against digital records, identifying and reporting any variances
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
