Sr. Specialist - Planning
KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for Lead Offshore Structural Designer / Checker to support a Major Offshore Oil & Gas Development Project involving FPSO facilities, jacket platforms, topside modules, living quarters, and fixed offshore installations. The project includes execution of Detailed Engineering phases under complex marine environmental conditions, requiring advanced 3D modelling integration, multidisciplinary coordination, strict offshore compliance standards, and delivery within fast-track schedules across global execution centres.
Ensures the development and completion of job progress milestones through scheduling. Coordinates with procurement and material mangers as well as engineering work group leads pertaining to essential. items of supply. Provides priorities for projects to guarantee completion. Contributes to forecasts and disbursements by performing schedule analysis. Under general supervision, solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices in project controls. Uses experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes. May provide guidance to less experienced team.
Responsibilities:
Maintain schedule coding structure and check correct application in P6
Assure integrity of the schedule – durations, logic, milestones
Schedule analysis and critical path and communication to project management
Co-ordination of the weekly and monthly update cycles for schedule and progress
Update and maintain Level 1, 2 and Level 3 schedules for project reports
Update and maintain progress curves for project reporting
Co-ordination of discipline and area reviews of schedule and progress to confirm accuracy of information and forecasts
Schedule management to assure alignment of all schedules and resolve interface issues
Correct use of the planning and progress systems
Provide progress measurement function for all phases of the project
Review of schedule and progress reporting for consolidation and input to project reports.
Provide schedule impacts for change control
Baseline maintenance
Qualifications:
Bachelors in civil, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 10–15 years of experience in oil and gas, power plant industries.
Good communication and technical coordination skills.
