Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior Civil Engineer to oversee construction activities, contractor management, billing, quality control, and project execution for our real estate projects in Bhopal.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities at project sites.
- Manage civil contractors, subcontractors, labour, and vendors.
- Verify RA Bills, contractor bills, measurements, BOQ, and work quantities.
- Monitor project progress against approved timelines and schedules.
- Ensure construction work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and approved standards.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project management teams.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with construction standards.
- Monitor material consumption, wastage, and site requirements.
- Identify delays, technical issues, and execution problems and take corrective action.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain proper site documentation.
- Ensure safety practices and proper housekeeping at construction sites.
- Coordinate multiple construction activities and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of RCC, masonry, plaster, flooring, finishing, waterproofing, and other civil works.
- Excellent knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, quantity estimation, measurements, and billing.
- Strong contractor and labour management skills.
- Ability to read and understand civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and quality standards.
- Strong site execution and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and team-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other construction-related software will be preferred.
Eligibility
- B.E./B.Tech/in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in real estate/residential construction.
- Candidates with strong experience in contractor management and civil billing will be preferred.
- Only candidates currently residing in Bhopal will be considered.
- Candidates should be willing to travel between project sites within Bhopal.
