A Junior Stores Executive is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of a warehouse or store by ensuring the proper receipt, storage, issuance, and recording of materials.

Job Summary
The Junior Stores Executive assists in managing inventory, maintaining stock records, and ensuring that materials are stored and issued accurately and efficiently. The role requires attention to detail, good organizational skills, and adherence to company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials and verify them against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Inspect materials for quantity and quality before accepting them into stock.
- Store materials in designated locations following proper storage practices.
- Issue materials to departments based on approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/software or manual registers.
- Perform regular stock counts and assist in periodic inventory audits.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory to the Stores Executive or Manager.
- Ensure proper labeling, identification, and organization of stored items.
- Maintain housekeeping, cleanliness, and safety standards in the store.
- Assist in preparing stock reports, Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), and stock movement reports.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams for smooth material flow.
- Follow company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- BCom, BBA Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
- Freshers or candidates with 0–5 years of experience in stores, warehouse, or inventory management are preferred.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of inventory and warehouse operations.
- Basic ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
