Role Summary
We are looking for a Materials/Metallurgy professional with strong experience in material characterization, alloy systems, surface coatings, and laboratory testing.
Key Responsibilities
Characterize metals, alloys, and engineered materials.
Study relationships between chemical composition and physical/electrical properties.
Analyze alloy composition and material behaviour.
Investigate surface coatings, plating, multilayer structures, and substrates.
Study the effects of:
Composition
Grain structure
Heat treatment
Thickness
Temperature
Surface condition
Manufacturing processes
Develop and maintain reference-material databases.
Design controlled laboratory experiments.
Analyze and interpret material-characterization data.
Work with analytical laboratories and testing facilities.
Correlate physical measurements with independently verified material composition.
Establish measurement tolerances and acceptance criteria.
Identify sources of measurement uncertainty.
Prepare technical reports and experimental documentation.
Support calibration and validation activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
Strong understanding of metals and alloy systems.
Experience with material characterization.
Laboratory testing experience.
Strong analytical and experimental skills.
Ability to interpret technical data and scientific literature.
