Job Summary:
The Purchase Engineer will be responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing materials, equipment, and services required for projects and operations. This role ensures timely procurement, cost optimization, vendor management, and compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.
- Prepare purchase orders and manage the procurement process end-to-end.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with vendors to achieve the best value.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams to understand material requirements.
- Monitor market trends and identify alternative sourcing options.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supply chain issues proactively.
- Review and ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies and legal regulations.
