About the Role
Social Mentor Media (SMM) is looking for a creative and talented Script Writer to develop compelling scripts for digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of storytelling, understand social media trends, and be able to create engaging content for videos, advertisements, and brand campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
· Write engaging scripts for Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, advertisements, podcasts, and other digital content.
· Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and video production teams to develop impactful concepts.
· Research industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor content to create relevant scripts.
· Develop creative hooks, storytelling structures, and strong call-to-actions.
· Ensure scripts align with brand voice and marketing objectives.
· Revise scripts based on feedback and project requirements.
· Manage multiple writing assignments while meeting deadlines.
Required Skills
· Excellent written communication and storytelling skills.
· Strong command of English and/or Tamil writing.
· Ability to simplify complex ideas into engaging and relatable content.
· Creative thinking with attention to detail.
· Knowledge of social media content trends and audience engagement.
· Basic understanding of video production and digital marketing is an added advantage.
Eligibility
· 2 years of experience in script writing, content writing, copywriting, or related roles.
· Freshers with a strong portfolio or writing samples are encouraged to apply.
· Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Media, Literature, or any relevant field is preferred.
· Portfolio or writing samples are mandatory.
