A Staff Nurse in Haryana government hospitals, Community Health Centres (CHCs), Primary Health Centres (PHCs), district hospitals, ESI hospitals, and NHM facilities is responsible for providing safe and effective nursing care to patients. Staff Nurse Job Description
- Assess patients' health condition and record medical history.
- Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, oxygen saturation).
- Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, and blood transfusions as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures.
- Provide emergency and first-aid care.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and surgeries.
- Dress wounds and provide post-operative care.
- Monitor patient recovery and report changes to doctors.
- Maintain nursing records, treatment charts, and patient documentation.
- Operate and maintain medical equipment safely.
- Follow infection prevention and biomedical waste management protocols.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment, medication, nutrition, and home care.
- Supervise nursing assistants, ANMs, and ward attendants when required.
- Participate in immunization programs, maternal and child health services, and other public health activities.

Required Qualifications
Typically, candidates should have:
- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery)
- Registration with the Haryana Nurses and Nurse-Midwives Council (or another recognized State Nursing Council, as specified in the recruitment notification)
