Job Summary
The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting the finance department by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, assisting with month-end activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The role requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work with accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Prepare and maintain journals, ledgers, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and expense reports.
- Assist in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of accounting experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
