Job Role - Mechanical Fitter:
We’re seeking a hands-on Mechanical Fitter to join our manufacturing team focused on building electric refrigeration units for cold logistics vehicles. You’ll play a key role in the fabrication, assembly, installation and servicing of our next-gen Refrigeration Unit.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and HVAC components such as fans, compressors, piping, and structural parts, along with general fitting activities.
- Install mechanical assemblies and vehicle-mounted systems, ensuring proper alignment, clamping and fastening.
- Inspect mechanical structures and assemblies to ensure proper fit and condition.
- Detect mechanical faults and repair or replace defective components.
- Support manufacturing and fabrication activities including drilling, cutting, grinding, welding, brazing assistance, and general workshop work.
- Perform periodic preventive maintenance on installed refrigeration systems.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, assembly procedure, and work instructions.
- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of tools, machines, and workshop equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain safe working practices at all times.
- Maintain records of work performed and inventory.
- Assist engineers during testing and product development when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in mechanical fitting / fabrication work.
- Hands-on experience in sheet metal work, drilling, grinding, welding, and basic fabrication.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
- Familiarity with product build from prototype to production is an added advantage.
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field preferred.
- Good workmanship, attention to detail, and safety awareness.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
