About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurses to join our Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered nursing care while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted under Hematology, Oncology, and BMT services.
- Monitor patients' clinical condition and promptly report any changes to the treating physician.
- Administer medications, chemotherapy (where trained and authorized), blood products, and intravenous therapies as per hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and control practices.
- Assist with patient assessment, procedures, and emergency interventions.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Coordinate effectively with consultants, RMOs, laboratory, blood bank, and other clinical departments.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards and hospital policies.
- Participate in departmental training, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Eligibility
- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid State Nursing Council registration.
- Freshers may apply.
- Candidates with experience in Hematology, Oncology, BMT, ICU, Critical Care, or Medical-Surgical Nursing will be preferred.
