The Project Incharge will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and executing all activities related to the establishment of a new manufacturing facility. The role includes project execution, vendor coordination, statutory approvals, administrative follow-up, budget monitoring, and ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and as per quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & ExecutionPrepare detailed project schedules and milestone plans.Coordinate civil, electrical, mechanical, utility, and interior work.Monitor daily project progress and ensure timely completion.Identify delays and implement corrective actions.Maintain project documentation and reports.2. Administrative Follow-upCoordinate with government authorities for approvals and licenses.Follow up for factory registration, pollution control, fire NOC, electrical approvals, and other statutory requirements.Maintain records of all legal and compliance documents.Liaise with consultants, architects, contractors, and government departments.3. Vendor & Contractor ManagementIdentify and coordinate with vendors and contractors.Obtain quotations and compare commercial offers.Monitor contractor performance and work quality.Verify bills and work completion before payment processing.4. Procurement CoordinationCoordinate procurement of machinery, equipment, furniture, utilities, and office infrastructure.Track delivery schedules and installation timelines.Ensure proper documentation of purchased assets.5. Budget & Cost ControlMonitor project expenditure against approved budgets.Prepare cost reports and variance analysis.Recommend cost-saving measures without compromising quality.6. Documentation & ReportingPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.Maintain project drawings, contracts, BOQs, approvals, MOMs, and correspondence.Present project status updates to management.7. Utility & Infrastructure SetupCoordinate installation of:Electrical systemsWater supplyAir compressorsHVACDG SetFire safety systemsCCTV & IT infrastructureEnsure all utilities are operational before production.8. Coordination with Internal DepartmentsWork closely with Production, HR, Purchase, Finance, IT, Maintenance, and Quality teams.Coordinate manpower requirements during project execution.Plan factory readiness before commercial production.9.
