Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Oncology Staff Nurse to provide specialized nursing care to cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology treatments. The candidate will work closely with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor oncology patients before, during, and after treatment.
- Administer chemotherapy, medications, IV infusions, and blood products as prescribed.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage treatment-related side effects.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and home care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and oncology safety protocols.
- Coordinate care with oncologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and caregivers.
Qualifications
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid Maharashtra Nursing Council registration.
- Oncology Nursing certification preferred.
- BLS certification preferred.
Experience
- 1–5 years of nursing experience.
- Experience in Oncology, Chemotherapy Day Care, Hematology, or Cancer Care preferred.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of chemotherapy administration and oncology protocols.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle emergencies and critical patient situations.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
Location: Khar, Mumbai
Shift: Rotational Shifts
Salary: As per experience and industry standards.
Pay: ₹37,500.00 - ₹41,000.00 per month
