A Civil Site Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring civil construction activities at the project site to ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily site activities with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and report delays or issues.
- Arrange manpower, materials, equipment, and resources required at site.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
- Maintain site records, measurement books, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site procedures.
- Attend site meetings and follow up on action points.
Typical Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in building, infrastructure, industrial, or residential projects.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, project planning, and construction practices.
