Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced SQL Server DBA with 12+ years of dedicated Database Administration experience. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on expertise in managing enterprise-scale SQL Server environments and must have successfully delivered large-scale database migration projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Administration, monitoring, and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management.
- Planning and execution of large-scale database migration projects.
- Performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability management.
- Database security, monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Root cause analysis and resolution of critical database issues.
- Ensuring database availability, reliability, and optimal performance.
Required Skills
- 12+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server Administration and Performance Tuning.
- Experience with Always On Availability Groups, Clustering, Replication, Log Shipping, and HA/DR solutions.
- Proven experience in large-scale database migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of backup, recovery, security, and database optimization.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Mandatory Criteria (Profiles Not Matching These Requirements Will Not Be Considered)
- Candidate must have 12+ years of dedicated DBA experience.
- Candidate must have worked exclusively as a SQL Server DBA throughout their career.
- Candidates having experience in Oracle DBA, MySQL DBA, PostgreSQL DBA, MongoDB DBA, or any other DBA technology will not be considered.
- Candidates who started their career in Development, System Administration, Networking, Cloud, Support, Testing, or any other technology and later moved into DBA will not be considered.
- Candidates with less than 12 years of DBA experience will not be considered.
- Work From Office in Ahmedabad is mandatory.
- Availability for UK Shift (2 PM to 11 PM IST) is mandatory.
