A Billing Executive in a Maruti Suzuki service center handles customer billing, invoice preparation, payment coordination, and service-related documentation. The role is important for ensuring accurate billing and smooth customer service operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare service invoices and final customer bills
- Generate bills for spare parts, labor charges, insurance, and warranty claims
- Verify job cards, customer details, and vehicle information
- Coordinate with service advisors, accounts team, and cashier
- Maintain billing records and daily MIS reports
- Handle cash, card, UPI, and finance-related payment entries
- Update dealership management software (DMS)
- Ensure GST and taxation details are correctly applied
- Assist customers with billing queries and payment clarification
- Maintain accurate filing of service documents and invoices
Required Skills
- Basic accounting and billing knowledge
- MS Excel and computer proficiency
- Knowledge of DMS/ERP software preferred
- Good communication and customer handling
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure during peak service hours
Qualification
- Any Degree / B.Com preferred
- Experience: Fresher or 1–3 years in billing/accounts
- Automobile dealership experience is an advantage
