Job Title: Assistant Manager – HR

Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager – HR to manage end-to-end payroll operations, statutory compliance, and HR administration while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to applicable labour laws. The role will be responsible for payroll processing, attendance management, statutory compliance, employee loan administration, HRMS management, full & final settlements, and HR documentation to support smooth HR operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Management
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement.
- Validate payroll inputs including attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, bonuses, deductions, and reimbursements.
- Process annual increments, salary revisions, appraisal letters, and payroll-related employee records.
- Prepare payroll reports and reconcile payroll data with the Finance team.
2. Attendance & Leave Management
- Monitor and validate employee attendance and leave records through the HRMS.
- Ensure accurate attendance data for payroll processing.
- Resolve attendance and leave discrepancies in coordination with department heads.
3. HRMS & Payroll System Management
- Administer and maintain the HRMS and payroll software, ensuring accurate employee master data.
- Upload and validate payroll inputs, attendance records, salary revisions, and statutory updates in the system.
- Coordinate with software vendors for issue resolution, system enhancements, and implementation of payroll-related updates.
- Support HRMS automation initiatives and ensure data accuracy and system compliance.
4. Bonus, Gratuity & Employee Benefits
- Calculate and process statutory bonus and gratuity as per applicable laws.
- Maintain employee benefit records and ensure timely processing of eligible payments.
- Support administration of employee compensation and benefits.
5. Employee Loan Processing
- Manage employee loan applications, approvals, documentation, and disbursement records as per company policy.
- Ensure accurate loan deductions through payroll and maintain loan repayment schedules.
- Prepare loan-related reports and reconcile outstanding balances.
6. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely compliance with PF, ESIC, Professional Tax (PT), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), Bonus, Gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare and submit statutory returns within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in labour laws and ensure organizational compliance.
7. Labour Law & Factory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable Labour Laws, the Factory Act, and other employment regulations.
- Support internal and external statutory audits and labour inspections.
- Coordinate with government authorities and consultants on compliance matters as required.
8. Full & Final Settlement (F&F)
- Process Full & Final Settlements for resigned and terminated employees.
- Ensure accurate settlement of salary, leave encashment, gratuity, bonus, recoveries, loan adjustments, and statutory payments.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and departmental stakeholders for timely employee separation.
9. HR Documentation & Operations
- Prepare appointment letters, confirmation letters, appraisal letters, increment letters, transfer letters, and other employee correspondence.
- Maintain employee records and ensure complete HR documentation.
- Support onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and HR policy implementation.
10. Reporting & Process Improvement
- Generate payroll MIS, statutory reports, compliance dashboards, and management reports.
- Recommend improvements to payroll, HRMS, and compliance processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of employee payroll and personal data.
Qualification & Experience
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- 6–10 years of experience in Payroll, HR Operations, and Statutory Compliance.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS and payroll software.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
