We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies and a keen interest in software testing.
Responsibilities:
- Execute manual test cases to ensure product quality.
- Test APIs using tools like Postman, and validate API requests/responses.
- Identify and document bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in the software.
- Collaborate with developers and the automation QA team to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Perform regression testing and re-testing of resolved bugs.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation such as test cases, test plans, and test results.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman.
- Understanding of API calls, request-response formats (JSON/XML), and status codes.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle.
- Knowledge of test rail and JIRA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- A proactive approach to learning and testing new features.
- Exposure to Agile methodology is a plus.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
