Job Summary
Thaver Tech Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. This role is ideal for freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are passionate about information security and eager to develop practical skills in threat detection, vulnerability assessment, network security, and incident response.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor systems, networks, and security tools for potential threats and suspicious activities.
- Perform basic vulnerability assessments and assist in security audits.
- Analyze security alerts and escalate incidents when required.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity policies and best practices.
- Support firewall, antivirus, endpoint security, and access control management.
- Help investigate security incidents and prepare incident reports.
- Maintain security documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Cyber Security principles and Networking concepts.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and network protocols.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, or endpoint security solutions is an advantage.
- Understanding of vulnerability assessment and common cyber threats.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
Educational Qualification
- B.Tech/B.E. (Computer Science/IT), BCA, MCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), or equivalent.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, Google Cybersecurity Certificate, or similar are a plus.
