Key Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for working machines, upholstery equipment, compressors, and utilities.
- Minimize downtime by anticipating wear and tear.
- MTTR,MTBF,MTTF, OEE,
- Breakdown Management
- Respond quickly to equipment failures to reduce production delays.
- Coordinate repairs and ensure availability of spare parts.
- Team Supervision
- Lead technicians and fitters, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
- Train staff on safe handling of machinery and tools.
- Safety & Compliance
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with factory safety standards.
- Implement fire safety, electrical safety, and occupational health measures.
- Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare and manage maintenance budgets.
- Optimize costs by negotiating with vendors and reducing wastage.
- Inventory Management
- Maintain stock of spare parts and consumables.
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid machine downtime.
- Continuous Improvement
- Introduce energy-saving initiatives and lean maintenance practices.
- Support automation and ERP integration for maintenance tracking.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering.
- 6–15 years of experience in Sofa or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of woodworking machinery, upholstery tools, hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, safety audits, and compliance regulations.
- Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and vendor management skills.
Salary
75000 K Gross P.M.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
