JOB DESCRIPTION - WARD STAFF NURSE
Designation: Staff Nurse - Ward
Location: Mohali, Punjab

Qualification: GNM / B.Sc Nursing
Registration: Must have valid PNRC Registration
Experience: 1 to 5 Years in Ward / IPD Department
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Ward Staff Nurse to provide quality nursing care to patients in our inpatient ward.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. PATIENT CARE:
- Provide direct nursing care to admitted patients.
- Monitor and record vital signs - Temperature, Pulse, BP, Respiration, SpO2.
- Administer oral medicines, IV injections, IV fluids as prescribed by doctor.
- Assist consultants during clinical rounds and procedures.
- Perform wound dressing, catheterization, Ryle's tube insertion and other nursing procedures.
- Maintain patient hygiene, comfort and safety.
2. DOCUMENTATION & HANDOVER:
- Maintain accurate nursing notes, TPR chart, Intake-Output chart, Drug chart.
- Complete admission and discharge formalities.
- Give proper and detailed handover to next shift nurse.
3. WARD MANAGEMENT:
- Ensure cleanliness, infection control and BMW segregation in the ward.
- Daily checking of crash cart, emergency medicines, oxygen cylinders and monitors.
- Maintain inventory of medicines, linen and consumables.
- Supervise and guide ANM, GDA and Housekeeping staff.
4. COMMUNICATION:
- Counsel patients and attendants regarding treatment, diet and post-discharge care.
- Maintain good interpersonal relationship with doctors,
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
