We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making through insightful analysis. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, leadership capabilities, and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage general ledger activities and ensure timely reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Mentor junior accounting staff and support their professional development
- Implement and improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
