Job description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior GIS Analyst to design, develop, and manage geospatial data systems and GIS applications. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing spatial data, building GIS models, supporting mapping projects, and ensuring data accuracy for decision-making. The role requires strong expertise in GIS software, spatial databases, and geospatial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain GIS databases, tools, and applications.
- Perform spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and data modeling using GIS software.
- Manage and update geospatial datasets from multiple sources.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security of GIS data.
- Lead GIS projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior GIS engineers.
- Support field data collection and remote sensing analysis.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and technical presentations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar GIS platforms
- Knowledge of remote sensing, GPS, and geospatial data processing
- Understanding of geospatial standards and coordinate systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field
- 2 - 5 years of experience in GIS engineering or geospatial analysis.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
