Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced QC Head to lead the Quality Control function in our manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through inspection, testing, process monitoring, and coordination with Production, NPD, and Customers to meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Quality Control team and daily inspection activities.
- Ensure incoming, in-process, and final inspections are carried out as per quality standards.
- Monitor product quality, rejection, rework, and process performance.
- Handle customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous quality improvement.
- Ensure APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, inspection records, and quality documentation are maintained.
- Coordinate with Production, NPD, Stores, and Dispatch to achieve quality objectives.
- Manage CMM inspection, measuring instruments, and calibration activities.
- Analyze quality data and prepare MIS reports for management.
- Train and develop the QC team on quality systems and inspection methods.
Requirements:
- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience in Quality Control in automotive, die casting, CNC machining, or precision engineering.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, GD&T, CMM, engineering drawings, and quality tools.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
