Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment related to transmission line and substation projects.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, isolators, CTs, PTs, and associated electrical equipment.
- Assist in erection, testing, commissioning, and energization of transmission lines and substations (33 kV, 66 kV, 132 kV, 220 kV & above).
- Perform cable laying, termination, gland sealing, jointing, and continuity testing.
- Identify electrical faults and execute troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Conduct insulation resistance, earth resistance, and continuity testing using appropriate instruments.
- Read and interpret single-line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, electrical drawings, and technical manuals.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Permit-to-Work (PTW), and electrical safety procedures.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and comply with all HSE guidelines.
- Maintain daily maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment history.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and contractors during project execution and maintenance activities.
- Support emergency breakdown maintenance and shutdown activities.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure tools and testing instruments are in proper working condition.
Educational Qualification
- ITI Electrician (Mandatory)
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
- Valid Electrical License/Wireman License (Preferred)
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
