About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, stock control, team supervision, procurement coordination, and maintaining efficient store operations. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the store.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, inventory, inward and outward movements.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of required items.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and invoices.
- Ensure proper storage, labelling, and arrangement of all materials.
- Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain inventory reports and stock registers.
- Coordinate with the Purchase and Accounts teams regarding procurement, invoices, and payments.
- Monitor damaged, expired, excess, or slow-moving stock and take appropriate action.
- Ensure proper documentation for all stock movements.
- Supervise store staff and allocate daily responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline within the store.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Track minimum and maximum stock levels and raise purchase requirements accordingly.
- Support periodic audits and provide required inventory records.
- Identify opportunities to reduce wastage, inventory losses, and operational costs.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory and stock management.
- Good understanding of store and warehouse operations.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and team-management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software.
- Ability to prepare stock and inventory reports.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field will be an added advantage.

- Reduction in stock discrepancies and wastage.
