Sourcing Manager – Pet Products

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager with strong knowledge of non-food pet products for cats and dogs, especially plastic products.
The candidate will manage vendor sourcing, product development, costing, quality, and production for the US market.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and develop vendors for cat and dog products.
- Manage sourcing of plastic pet products and related accessories.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, capacity, lead time, and compliance.
- Handle product development from sample stage to mass production.
- Negotiate prices, tooling costs, MOQs, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Review materials, product specifications, packaging, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers on moulds, samples, testing, production, and shipment.
- Monitor vendor performance and resolve quality or delivery issues.
- Develop alternate suppliers to reduce cost and supply risk.
- Track trends and new product opportunities in the US pet market.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor development, or product development.
- Strong experience in non-food pet products for cats and dogs.
- Good knowledge of plastic materials and manufacturing processes.
- Experience sourcing products for the US market.
- Strong vendor negotiation, costing, and supplier-management skills.
- Experience working with international buyers, importers, or retailers.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of injection moulding, blow moulding, tooling, and plastic materials.
- Experience with US pet brands, retailers, or e-commerce businesses.
- Existing vendor network in pet products.
- Willingness to travel to factories and supplier locations.
Pay: ₹296,651.10 - ₹1,175,720.33 per year
