Key responsibilities
- Machine operation: Operate machinery such as threaders and lathes to cut, thread, and fit flanges onto pipes.
- Quality control: Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and verify that flanges are correctly threaded and fit properly.
- Safety and maintenance: Follow all safety procedures, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and perform basic maintenance and cleaning of the work area and machines.
- Material handling: Position pipe in the machine, use cranes to move heavy materials, and handle pipes of various sizes.
- Collaboration: Work with team members to meet production goals and report any equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
