Job Title: Assistant Quality Control Officer
Industry: Pharmaceutical – Research, Development & Manufacturing (Topical Formulations)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as HPLC, FTIR, Karl Fischer, pH Meter, Refractometer, Analytical Balance, and perform balance calibration.
- Conduct HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) analysis for raw material testing as per approved methods.
- Perform chemical analysis including titration and other routine QC tests.
- Record, review, and maintain laboratory documentation in compliance with GMP and GLP requirements.
- Analyze test results and ensure products meet quality specifications.
- Prepare and review quality control reports, SOPs, and analytical documents.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) or out-of-trend (OOT) results with the QC team.
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and safety guidelines.
- Participate in process improvement and continuous quality enhancement initiatives.
- Coordinate with QA, Production, and R&D departments for quality-related activities.
