A hotel manager oversees the daily operations of a lodging facility, balancing guest satisfaction with financial profitability. They lead staff, manage budgets, maintain property standards, and drive revenue. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and exceptional customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Oversight: Manage daily functions across departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage operating budgets, track revenue, control expenses, and optimize pricing/distribution strategies to maximize profits.
- Guest Relations: Ensure high-quality customer service, meet and greet guests, and professionally resolve complaints to maintain the hotel's reputation.
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate staff performance to ensure a motivated and efficient team.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce health, safety, and security regulations, and ensure the property complies with local licensing laws.
Core Requirements
- Education: A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is typically preferred.
- Experience: Previous supervisory or management experience within the hospitality industry.
- Skills: Excellent communication, conflict resolution, numerical aptitude, and proficiency in property management systems (PMS).
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
