Key Responsibilities:
- Assigning loads, planning routes, and communicating with drivers to ensure on-time pick-up and delivery.
- Monitoring vehicles using tracking software to provide real-time updates to customers and adjust for delays.
- Addressing unforeseen issues like traffic jams, flat tires, or vehicle maintenance needs.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or dispatching is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to handle phone calls, emails, and driver communication effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple deliveries, prioritize urgent requests, and stay calm under pressure.
- Ensuring that all work is accurately entered and managed in the dispatch systems.
Requirements:
- 1-2 Years of experience in logistics dispatch or tracking/tracing department.
- Proficiency with Email Handling, Calls and Computer knowledge.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple drivers/routes simultaneously.
- Knowledge of local and regional routes is a plus.
