- Integrate high-performance CMOS/IR sensors, thermal imaging modules, and video processors.
- Develop and optimize real-time video transmission electronics (HDMI, SDI, LVDS, MIPI, Ethernet).
- Work on rugged, low-SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power) designs for airborne payloads.
- Implement power management systems for camera modules to ensure efficiency and reliability in UAV platforms.
- Ensure hardware meets defense-grade MIL-STD environmental and EMI/EMC standards.
- Collaborate with optics, gimbal/mechanical, and embedded software teams for seamless payload integration.
- Conduct lab and field testing for performance validation under vibration, temperature extremes, and high-altitude conditions.
- Prepare technical documentation, design reviews, and support defense qualification processes.
- Strong expertise in analog/digital circuit design for EO/IR camera electronics.
- Hands-on experience with thermal camera modules, IR detectors, and image sensors.
- Proficiency with high-speed interfaces (MIPI CSI, LVDS, HDMI, SDI, GigE).
- Familiarity with FPGA/SoC-based video processing and camera control systems.
- Knowledge of real-time video compression (H.264/H.265) and telemetry integration.
- Experience with ruggedized PCB design, including thermal and EMI/EMC considerations.
- Strong debugging skills using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-810, DO-160, or equivalent defense/aerospace standards.
- Ability to design for long endurance UAV missions with power efficiency focus.
