Croissance Clinical Research is a full-service Clinical Research Organization (CRO) providing Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Management, Biostatistics, Medical Writing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Site Management services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. The organization supports Phase II–IV clinical trials, post-marketing studies, and epidemiological research across India, Asia, and Africa.
Job Summary
The Business Development Associate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, developing client relationships, and supporting the growth of Croissance Clinical Research's clinical research services portfolio. The role requires interaction with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and healthcare organizations to promote CRO services and secure new projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Identify and generate new business opportunities within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and healthcare sectors.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging industry trends.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Schedule and participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposal discussions.
- Support preparation of Requests for Proposal (RFPs), quotations, and service agreements.
- Follow up on leads generated through conferences, digital marketing campaigns, and referrals.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal teams to provide suitable solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and timely communication.
- Maintain regular contact with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Marketing & Promotion
- Promote Croissance Clinical Research services through email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, webinars, and industry events.
- Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Assist in developing marketing materials, presentations, and business proposals.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems.
- Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
- Monitor business targets and contribute towards achieving revenue goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Clinical Research, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA in Marketing/Healthcare Management will be an added advantage.
- 3–4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or Clinical Research.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Understanding of clinical research and CRO services.
- Lead generation and client acquisition skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and achieve business targets.
