Job Title: Cloud Associate - DevOps
Job Description:
We are seeking a Cloud Associate – DevOps to support and enhance our cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have 6 months to 3 years of experience in cloud services, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and system monitoring. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency, ensure system reliability, and optimize application performance in cloud environments.
The role involves supporting cloud infrastructure, managing deployment pipelines, troubleshooting production and infrastructure issues, and implementing automation solutions to streamline operational tasks. Candidates should have a strong interest in DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and improving CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud, deployment, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Implement automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
- Support containerized applications and orchestration platforms.
- Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and deployment guides.
- Follow security, backup, and compliance best practices in cloud environments.
- Participate in incident management and root cause analysis activities.
Required Skills:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment automation.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Basic scripting skills in Bash, Shell, or Python.
- Understanding on Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- Understanding on GitOps & Continuous Deployment Practices
- Basic understanding on Identity & Access Management (IAM), SAML/SSO
- Understanding and basics on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Ansible
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
- Good troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
