Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Apparel Quality Controller to ensure that garments meet company quality standards and buyer specifications. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting fabrics, stitching, finishing, and final garments to maintain high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inline and final inspection of garments as per AQL standards.
Check fabric quality, stitching, measurements, trims, and finishing.
Ensure garments meet buyer specifications and quality guidelines.
Identify defects and suggest corrective actions to production teams.
Monitor cutting, sewing, and packing processes.
Prepare quality reports and maintain inspection records.
Coordinate with merchandisers and production team for quality improvements.
Ensure compliance with company and buyer quality standards.
Conduct pre-shipment inspection before dispatch.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Textile, Fashion Technology, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in apparel quality control.
Good knowledge of garment construction and fabric types.
Strong understanding of AQL standards and quality parameters.
Ability to identify defects in stitching, printing, embroidery, and finishing.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Key Competencies:
