Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Digital Payments Testing Engineer with strong expertise in Banking and Financial Services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing digital payment applications including UPI, ATM, IMPS, and Core Banking systems such as Flexcube. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of banking applications through comprehensive testing practices.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in Banking Application Testing.
- Strong knowledge of Digital Payments systems such as:
UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
IMPS (Immediate Payment Service)
ATM Transactions
NEFT / RTGS
- Experience working with Core Banking Systems, preferably Flexcube.
- Good understanding of Banking Domain and Financial Services processes.
- Experience in Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT Testing.
- Knowledge of API Testing using tools such as Postman or SOAP UI.
- Experience in Test Case Design, Test Execution, Defect Tracking, and Reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with SQL queries and database validation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform end-to-end testing of Digital Payment applications including UPI, ATM, IMPS, and Core Banking systems.
- Validate transaction processing, settlements, reconciliations, and payment workflows.
- Execute Functional, Regression, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Conduct API testing and backend validation to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Teams to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and operational requirements.
- Prepare test reports and provide status updates to stakeholders.
- Support production deployment activities and post-release validation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Oracle Flexcube.
- Understanding of Banking APIs and Payment Gateway integrations.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Knowledge of Automation Testing tools will be an added advantage.
